    Translation
    Know all by these presents, that we, Richard COMBERBACH
    of Broughton in the County of Flint husbandman and William CORBYN of ____ in the County aforesaid husbandman are bound and firmly obliged to Thomas JACKSON Cleric Parish Priest of the parish of Hawarden in twenty pounds [£20] of good and legal money of England to pay to the same Thomas JACKSON or his heirs, executors or assigns, To well and faithfully make payment of which, we firmly bind ourselves and all of our heirs, executors and administrators by the presents, sealed with our seals the ninth day of July in the 36th year of the Reign of Queen Elizabeth 1st [9 Jul 1594].

    The condicon of the above written Obligacon is such that the above bounden Richard COMBERBACH doe well and truly w[i]th out fraude & collusion administer all and singular the goods creditts rights and cattells where of Ellen COMBERBACHE decesed died possessed accordinge to the true meaninge purporte and effect of l[a]wes of administracon granted to him in the behalfe And doe pay the sayde discedents debts and discharge all and singular suche Legaces if any the sayd discedent owed or bequeathed so for as by law he shallbee there unto lawfully held or bound And doe also make a p[er]fect accoumpt of the true administringe of the sayde goodes creditts rights and cattells of the sayde discedent to the above named Thomas JACKSON Clearke or other judge competent in that behalf when as often as by law he shall bee tyed and doe att all times [damage]estor upon [damage] __ and charge against all __ and [damage] and bee harmles the above named Thomas JACKSON Clearke and all his officers for and Concurn[ing] the granting of the sayd lawes then this obligacion to be voyded or eles remayne in full power and vertue.
