      Transcription: In the name of God Amen. I Mary Comberbatch of the City of Bristol Widow being at present (thanks be to God) in pretty good state of health and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding but considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the Time thereof do therefore make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following That is to say First and principally I commend my soul to God Almighty that gave it hoping through his Mercy and the Merits and Mediation of my Saviour Jesus Christ and to Enjoy Eternal Life my Body I commit to the Earth to be in frugal and private manner decently interred at the Discretion of my executrix hereafter named and as to such worldly Estate as it has pleased God to bless me withall after payment of what just Debts I may happen to owe at the time of my Decease and Funeral Expenses I give and dispose thereof in manner following That is to say Unto my eldest daughter Mary the wife of John Morse of the said city of Bristol apothecary as a mark of me great love and affection and regard for her I give and devise the sum of three hundred pounds to be paid to her at the end of one year after my Decease to be by her disposed of as she shall see fit Then all the Rest of my Estate real and personal goods Chattels plate Credits and effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Comberbatch To hold to her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said Daughter Ann Comberbatch sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have to this my said last Will contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this seventh day of October in the fourteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the second and in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty (sic) - Mary Comberbatch signd (sic) sealed published and declared by the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto in her presence and at her request J John Taylor Henry Byndtoss.

      THIS WILL was proved at London the Twenty third day of June in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Forty three. Before the Right Worshipfull John Bettesworth Doctor of Lawe (sic) Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted By the Oath of Ann Comberbatch Spinster the Daughter of the Deceased and sole executrix named in the said Will To whom was granted Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said Deceased being first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
