      Drinks Leading to Suicide
Mrs. Cumberbatch wife of Isaac Cumberbatch, a watchmaker, of No. 116 Mulberry street, Newark committed suicide there last evening by taking poison. It appears that her husband is an Englishman, while the wife was a German, and that owing, as it is stated, to the woman's habit of disputing the pair lived together very unhappily, Mrs. Cumberbatch was frequently arrested while intoxicated. Recently she went on a spree. This caused words, and last night she procured a heavy dose of poison and ended her life. [3]
